Lia Slater

I am so happy to have Lia here with us today. Thanx, Lia !!!
Lia Slater thinks the world would be a better place if everyone read romance novels. There’s so much to learn from the storylines. Love. Loyalty. Confidence. Passion. Desire. Conflicts would be resolved with happy endings. And, of course, the sex would be mind-boggling.
Lia is well on her way to helping the world become a better place by writing steamy romance with heart-throbbing emotion.
Ok, Lia, let me start by asking the basic question, why do you write erotic romance? Like my bio states—to help the world become a better place. No, seriously, I write erotic romance because it allows me to write sexy stories outside the box. What romance subgenres do you write in? I write paranormal, suspense, and contemporary erotic romance.

The sexy, steamy parts are pretty awesome to write :) Is there a certain theme/trademark you use in your books?
Survival seems to be a common theme in my books. That and I noticed my characters tend to be held captive quite a bit. In Fatal Exposure, my heroine is held against her will by the hero in a secluded mountain cabin. In my story, Off Limits, my heroine is handcuffed to a chair. In WereSlave, my alpha hero is held as a sex slave by the heroine until he turns the tables on her. And in Were Blood, my werewolf heroine falls hard for her yummy captor despite her hatred of his kind (vampire). So…if you enjoy a sexy captive story, these might, er, captivate you.

I love sexy, captive stories. I can't wait to get my hands on WereSlave. What gets your inspirational juices flowing?
Nothing gets my juices flowing more than sitting down and writing that book. Writing every day helps me stay in the zone.

For me, writing is a fix. How do your stories come to life? Is it real or fantasy?
All complete fantasy. My imagination is a wicked thing.

Wicked minds are the best. Are you a fairy tale or a realist sorta person?
I think I have to be both in order to write stories and then sell them.

Please tell us about your most recent release and where we can purchase it. Please give us your urls and your publisher’s url.
Were Blood (the third book in the Were Legends series) is my latest release.
